Mini-bee-sts - Insect Inspired Merch

Hi everyone!!

First a massive THANK YOU to everyone who backed the campaign, I'm so pleased we managed to unlock so many stretch goals!!! Now straight on to the all important next steps....

PAYMENTS
Backerkit has already attempted and, mostly successfully, charged you for you pledge payments. But there have been a few failed attempts so please do make sure to check to see if yours is one of these and make any adjustments needed for these to clear. There's two weeks for you to correct these issues before Backerkit sends me the funds etc to start ordering your lovely goodies! Sometime banks can flag payments as unusual so you may need to check to ensure this has not happened.

SURVEYS
Once the funds have been transferred I'll be sending out surveys for you all to start picking which designs you'd like. There'll also be a chance to add-on items some of which weren't featured during the run of the campaign, payments for these and shipping fees will be taken at the end of the survey. Please fill out surveys as quickly as possible so I know what quantities to order and I can then start doing so asap.

PRODUCTION & FULFILLMENT
After the survey deadline (roughly a week after they're sent out) I'll start placing my orders with my manufacturers. My aim is to have orders starting to send out and mostly finished by the end of October and beginning of November.

SHIPPING
If any of you have any experience with both local and international postage I know you'll sympathise with the sometimes tricky task of estimating shipping costs. I've followed the formula I have used in all my previous Backerkit campaigns which has worked well, but an occasional overcharge may occur. If this does happen any and all accidental postage overcharges will be refunded ASAP.

Hiya!

After putting up the poll to decide what the next stretch goal would be, I've unfortunately gone and got shingles, which is no fun! So apologies for no updates for a while.

But looking at the poll it seems like the A5 sticker sheet option has just edged it, so it will be our final stretch goal for this campaign and unlock if we reach £700. We've got 5 days to do it....



To help get us there I've added the sticker sheet as an add on and individual pledge level.

Amazingly we are only £39 away from unlocking the Blue Carpenter bee mini pin. Thanks so much everyone! I've got to be honest this is one of my faves so I really hope we unlock it....


In the last update I put together a poll for you to vote on what possible stretch goal you'd like to see next  and it's a bit of a 50/50 split between an A5 sticker sheet and more wooden mini pins. If you haven't voted I've attached the poll to this update. Here's a quick sneak peek of what a prospective sticker sheet would be like, it would be fancy holographic effect so all the insect wings shine nicely....

Hoorah! We've now unlocked the special double layered female Ruddy Darter dragonfly pin, it is now available as a separate pledge level and add-on option if you'd like to get one!



We've now got just two stretch goals left to try and reach and unlock the rather unique and colourful Dicarnosis erythracephala wasp and the Blue carpenter bee....

Before I add any more stretch goals to the line up I wanted to check in and ask you lovely lot what you'd be keen to see, so I've added a poll at the bottom for you vote in, and don't forget you can always comment with your ideas on this post.

Wow! Thanks to lots of early support the initial funding target has already been reached so the first 7 mini pins are funded. Now we march on towards the many stretch goals....

First up is the Black Firefly which will unlock at £250



I also managed to finish another suggested design today which has been added as the stretch goal which will unlock at £550.... let me introduce you to the Blue Carpenter Bee...



Here's hoping we can unlock this one too! Don't forget you've got just 48hrs to back if you want the early backer freebie!
